Llano, TX

John, Dorian and I took a road trip to the Llano, TX area to do some bluebonnet paintings. I’ve posted a couple of mine and one of Dorian’s, plus a few photos of us. Dorian also took a lot of cool photos, including the one of the two cows. Dorian would like to let folks know that while the Hill Country is great, outside of Austin it is pretty tough to find soy yogurt and tofu. I’m just glad we got Dorian out of there alive….

Bristol Bluebonnets

This is a bluebonnet painting I did in Bristol, which is right outside of Ennis. It is along the “Ennis Bluebonnet Trail”, a series of small roads with good wildflowers. I need to work on more detail in the foreground. The blue kind of reads like water.
